Otter is launching enterprise search, acting as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) client to connect to and pull data from external apps using a common standard AI tools are rapidly adopting. Users can connect Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, Jira, and Salesforce to query that data alongside existing meeting data, with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Slack support coming soon. Users can also push meeting summaries to Notion or draft Gmail messages directly from Otter. The company has redesigned its AI assistant to be consistently present across the interface, understanding the context of the current screen to answer questions. This follows similar moves by Read AI, Fireflies.ai, and Fathom as AI meeting notetakers evolve into full enterprise productivity workspaces.
